CYRANO: COSTUME SUPERVISOR

Summary:

Adapted by Glynn Maxwell, this production of the classic sees the story of Cyrano Savienien de Bergerac retold by the inhabitants of the convent he visits daily. They clothe themselves in the garments of a host of cadets, poets, précieuses, theatregoers and many more to weave a tale of love, appearances, and the power of words. All set in the 1640s war between France and Spain, will this tale end in triumph or tragedy?

My Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively working alongside director, costume designer, and hair and makeup supervisor to produce a fully clothed and wigged host of 30+ costumes
